The National Weather Service issued on St. Clair and parts of southwestern Pennsylvania late Friday.
“We forecast says we are going to get two to four inches of snow day tomorrow. That do not frighten us. Our attention if we get freezing rain or sleet-term that will be built, “said George Kostelich, Director of public works.
The crew out Thursday night and Friday morning pre-treating road. All equipment is in good condition and there is much material available due to the extraordinary warm December and early January.
Kostelich says his men get the rest of Friday afternoon, and expect the snow will begin to fall between 7 p.m. and 9: 00 pm the crew would focus on keeping the roads clear around the high school for evening activities.
“If you’re Eve activities ended before until 8 p.m., the driver may not see the problem. Every travel after 8 PM can be dicey, “he said.
